Okaloosa County
The Okaloosa County
Health Department offers two locations within the county; Crestview and Fort Walton Beach.  These two offices provide public services Monday through Friday with morning and evening hours.

The Okaloosa County Board of Commissions provides a public safety department with services such as 9-1-1, emergency medical services, emergency communications, and emergency management.  The county supports fourteen fire departments and provides evacuation routes and shelters.  Marine and fire weather reports are also available as well as general weather conditions.

Fort Walton Beach Medical Center
The Fort Walton Beach Medical Center is a 247-bed acute care hospital accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and licensed by the state of Florida. Serving the healthcare needs of the Emerald Coast since 1974, Fort Walton Beach Medical Center provides inpatient and outpatient hospital care to the citizens and visitors of Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Walton Counties. The medical center offers a wide variety of health services from seniors to parents to athletes, including an Intensive Care Unit and a 24-hour Emergency Room.  The Fort Walton Beach Medical Center offers an open heart program and a 33 private room Progressive Care Unit.

In 2007 the medical center was ranked among the nation's top 5 percent of hospitals by HealthGrades, an independent health care ratings company.  Fort Walton Medical Center earned the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence.

North Okaloosa Medical Center
The North Okaloosa Medical Center's mission statement is “people serving people to enhance the quality of life through education, partnership, and healthcare.” From routine outpatient services to sophisticated invasive procedures, North Okaloosa Medical Center offers state-of-the-art health care to 290,000 residents of the Emerald Coast region in Florida's panhandle. North Okaloosa Medical Center is a full-service 110-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The Hospital also features 24-hour emergency care, and specialized programs for women, children, and seniors.

North Okaloosa Medical Center works closely with organizations and individuals in the community to provide education about health and wellness, especially things that can be done to prevent or reduce the risk of serious health problems.

Sacred Heart Hospital on The Emerald Coast
The Daughters of Charity, the founders of Sacred Heart Hospital, have been committed to providing quality health care for all, since arriving in Northwest Florida during the Civil War. From an unparalleled range of care and services in Walton County, to the full support of Sacred Heart Health System in Pensacola, the best care comes from the Heart.   This beautiful 50-bed facility has been built with growth and progress in mind. It has the capacity to expand, and new services will continue to be introduced as the Emerald Coast continues to grow and change.

Sacred Heart Hospital’s Regional Stroke Center in Pensacola recently launched an innovative use of the Internet and videoconferencing technology that will extend the hospital’s stroke expertise to Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast and additional smaller hospitals throughout the area that do not have stroke neurologists on site.

Twin Cities Hospital
Twin Cities Hospital is the premier healthcare provider for Niceville, Valparaiso, and the bay areas. Twin Cities Hospital offers 65 inpatient beds and extensive outpatient services.  Twin Cities Hospital offers a wide variety of services highlighted by the Wellness Center, critical care units, the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program, 24-hour emergency room services, and the Senior Friends Program. 

TCH offers an Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Program for correcting natural deficiencies, fixing problems caused by trauma or accidents, and performing complete back reconstructions. Twin Cities Hospital is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and licensed by the State of Florida.

White-Wilson Medical Center
The White-Wilson Medical Center is a physician-owned, multi-specialty group of professionals delivering comprehensive primary and specialty healthcare services to Okaloosa County and the Emerald Coast from 4 locations.  White-Wilson Medical Center's 50 years of growth and technical advancement have led to the development of a major outpatient medical facility.
