Industry Appreciation

     The EDC hosted the Corporate Olympics from 1996 to 2003 in support of the state's recognition of Industry Appreciation Week and The Governor's Diversification Award.  Companies receive the Governor's Diversification Award in recognition of their excellence as a corporate citizen and their economic and civic contributions.  Less than a dozen companies state wide receive this prestigious leadership award.

The EDC now sponsors the Workforce Development Board's Industry Appreciation Week's Breakfast of Champions to honor our local workplace excellence.

The Breakfast of Champions is a recognition ceremony for the Best Places to Work awards for our local businesses and their commitment to excellence.
