Networking
The EDC Policy Board is considered the hierarchy of the EDC
and offers top business and communities leaders not only the
opportunity to shake hands and catch up in a casual and
confidential environment, but it also provides leadership with
the most current information on the EDC activities and
initiatives. All
Trustee level members have a
seat on the Policy Board.
The EDC offers prime time networking opportunities for all EDC
members during their
Roundtable Symposium events. The EDC
Roundtable is a symposium focused on providing EDC members, county and city
officials, military delegates, and guests a unique networking
opportunity with a keynote speaker. The EDC's morning
roundtable event provides a buffet breakfast and features a keynote
speaker providing pertinent information concerning Okaloosa
County. Approximately 200 community leaders attend these
informative morning symposiums.
Newsletter
The EDC composes six
newsletters each year to
inform the business community of hot topics, current events,
and business and retention success stories. As an EDC
member, you receive an automatic subscription to this
publication. When you achieve a milestone in your
business, send us the story so that we can share your
successes! EDC newsletter are also archived and made
available electronically for a year after their publication.
TV Show Guest Appearance
EDC
President, Larry Sassano, hosts a TV broadcast, the
Vision of Growth, each month.
The 30-minute broadcast features experts in their respective fields discussing economic issues relating
to topics such as the technology, defense, workforce,
