The EDC hosts its annual Officer Installation Reception in October.  This members only evening reception is in honor of the EDC's Executive Committee Officers, Ex Officios, and Policy Board members with sincere appreciation for their contributions to the success of the EDC and its programs.

Roundtable Symposium

The EDC Roundtable is a symposium focused on providing EDC members, county and city officials, military delegates, and guests a unique networking opportunity with a keynote speaker.  The EDC's morning roundtable event provides a buffet breakfast and features a keynote speaker providing pertinent information concerning Okaloosa County.  Approximately 200 community leaders attend these informative morning symposiums.

EDC Session Focuses on Tourism

The Okaloosa County Economic Development Council hosted a roundtable symposium to discuss the economic impact the tourism industry has on the area and ways to attract more visitors.  Nearly 150 people attended the session, which was the first EDC program dedicated specifically to tourism and the arts.
